User Experience Strategist

You are a highly empathetic individual who develops and implement strategies to optimise and create engaging and intuitive user-centred experiences. By conducting user research using various approaches, tools and methods, you understand users’ needs, wants, thinking, emotions and pain points to create meaningful and impactful user experiences across different touchpoints. You are always curious about the world to understand new trends, technologies and user behaviours, and open to exploring new ideas and approaches to problem-solving. You have a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail and can analyse data and user feedback to draw insights. You have a good sense of balancing creative ideas with practical usability. Your positivity, enthusiasm and curiosity are contagious, and people are naturally drawn to your personality. You can work and collaborate well across functional teams, including designers, developers and content writers. When faced with ambiguous challenges, you think outside the box and have tons of initiative. A self-starter, you can get things done on time and in good order with minimum supervision.

What will you be doing?

  • Contribute to research to understand the macro and micro environment of project stakeholders, including user research, competitive analysis and stakeholder interviews to define users and identify their needs, behaviours, emotions and pain points across different touchpoints
  • Work closely with the Content Lead and cross-functional teams to formulate concepts, goals and requirements into a strategic roadmap and approach, including information architecture and UX components such as customer journey maps and user scenarios, to guide project vision, experience design and content directions
  • Synthesise discovery user research into strategic approaches and deliverables, such as strategic briefs, presentations, and analysis reports
  • Liaise  with project stakeholders to define project goals, validation parameters and success metrics
  • Conduct user testing and usability testing to validate solutions and design decisions to optimise user experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, methodologies, frameworks and technologies in UX design and user research

What are we looking for?

  • Three or more years of proven work experience in UX strategy, UX research or related field
  • Strong understanding of user research methodologies, qualitative and quantitative, and open to new methods to engage users and conduct user research
  • Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools to communicate data effectively
  • Familiarity with methodologies, such as agile development and design thinking, is optional but prefered
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to present ideas and articulate user research findings and concepts to a variety of audiences in small and big group settings
  • Excellent problem solver and ability to work with cross-functional teams
