How do we engage teenagers with Southeast Asia’s contemporary art? We decided not to focus solely on art and the technicalities of producing artworks. Instead, art was introduced through an exciting exercise — art auctioning. Thanks to this well-conceptualised and executed programme, art indeed sparked rigorous and deep conversations, and was appreciated and enjoyed even by viewers with no or limited experience in the field.
