This fun, skill-building and highly successful workshop for young children imparted information about the lifestyle and food of the 1960s in an enjoyable and meaningful way. We encouraged the participants to use the artefacts and the information gathered as inspiration for writing and telling their stories. Through this experience, children also realised that the museum was full of stories waiting to be shared!
