Partner: National Museum of Singapore
Target group: Kindergarteners
The coconut tree is a wonder plant, its many parts used in food and as tools and utensils. Yet, its value is often overlooked in modern society. In this programme, kindergarteners listened to stories about the coconut tree and grasped the plant’s usefulness by holding and handling artefacts made from its different parts. For these young children, we opened a window into Singapore’s natural and cultural heritage.
