Partner: National Museum of Singapore
Target group: Families with young children
Gallery tours in history museums are often said to be unsuitable for families with young children as the kids could not hold their attention for long. For the museum’s exhibitions related to colonial Singapore and the spice trade, we developed one that was heavy on stories to enthral the little ones. It also included games, such as a treasure hunt for spices, that families could play together quietly without disturbing other visitors. Many families commented that they had not realised that museums could be such fun places.
